ABOUT
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I’m a Polish-born contemporary abstract artist living and working in London, United Kingdom.
My painting is a dialogue that explores the tension between light and darkness, joy and reflection, expressed through layered textures and atmospheric colour fields.
My imaginary landscapes are reflections of my emotions, memory, and inner transformation.
Working primarily with acrylics and oils, often incorporating collage, pastels, and palette knife techniques, I like to create multi-layered surfaces that balance turbulence with calm.
Each painting unfolds intuitively, guided by gesture, colour, and material, where light emerges from depth and radiance breaks through shadow.
My work is a meditative exploration of emotional states, translating personal experiences into abstract landscapes that balance movement and stillness.
Rich in tonal contrasts, they evoke shifting skies, elemental forces, and the raw beauty of nature as a mirror for human emotion.
I always enjoy seeing viewers interacting with and interpreting my work individually.
My paintings invite the viewer into a contemplative space, inspired by life, nature, and the complexity of human feeling.
My goal is to create works that resonate deeply with personal emotions, offering energy, reflection, and joy.
BIO
Kinga Kruk
Polish Contemporary Abstract Artist | London, UK
Kinga Kruk is a Polish-born contemporary abstract artist living and working in London.
Her practice explores emotional memory, transformation, and the subtle tension between silence and expression.
Working with layered acrylic, oil, and mixed media, she builds textured surfaces that unfold gradually, balancing restraint and intensity, structure and intuition. Rather than depicting the visible world, her paintings focus on atmosphere and sensation, inviting a contemplative and deeply personal response.
Rooted in lived experience and cultural identity, her work reflects an ongoing dialogue between movement and stillness, presence and absence.
Since 2020, she has exhibited in independent galleries and art fairs across the UK.
Her works are held in private collections internationally and are available for commission.
